​Formed in May of 2020, The Lancaster Legal Collective (LLC) is a consensus-driven, self-organized, and autonomous group of individuals. We train and advise volunteers as legal observers to monitor and protect the rights of protesters and demonstrators at their events.

 

As a group, we espouse no particular policy goals or political positions. When acting in the capacity of the Collective our volunteers remain peripheral and do not engage as participants in event actions. As individuals, our volunteers make personal decisions about volunteering at events.​
